It is important to consider a range of Christian denominations when looking at this unit (Christianity) in a Studies of Religion Perspective. From the time of the Early Christian Church, Christianity has been continuously developing.
While today there are over 35000 Christian denominations, we will only be exploring some of the main branches. Every Christian denomination has their own history and unique feature which define them as separate entities. In this unit, not one is greater than the other, nor is one used as a comparison point.
There are many similarities and differences held by the denominations, but these will be looked at more closely when looking at Principal Beliefs.
